Hello and Welcome to my corner of the Universe! My name, as stated in the marquee, is Michael Dawn Brooks, a human located in San Antonio, TX, residing alongside my family and other humans.
We’re all human. Except the non-humans. Some of whom are cats.
I write YA SF/F (young adult sci-fi/fantasy to the uninitiated) as well as other odds and bobs here and there. My current project, Heart of the Wayshower Saga is a planned seven book series. Book one, Misty Fairchild and the Heart of Alignment, released October 1, 2022, and book two, Adam Rowan and the Heart of the Mountain, launched October 1, 2023. Both are available here on my website in paperback, or everywhere books are sold as paperback or ebook. You can also request both books for your local library!
